Check your visa requirements early
----------------------------------
Don’t leave it to the last minute – check your visa requirements early!
Taiwan has a range of different entry and visa requirements for
visitors. The Bureau of Consular Affairs (BOCA), Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan) website has some useful links to
determine whether you will need a visa:
- Visa exempt economies
http://www.boca.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=1443&ctNode=779&mp=2
- eVisa eligible economies
http://www.boca.gov.tw/content.asp?mp=2&CuItem=7283#ev01
- Travel Authorization Certificate eligible entrants
http://www.boca.gov.tw/ct.asp?xItem=6464&ctNode=868&mp=2
If you are required to lodge your visa application with a consulate
office, TWNIC can provide some support. Please contact TWNIC by
Wednesday, 18 August 2017, as they may be able to assist with a
simplified application process.
