Hail SANOG!

It was great getting the chance to meet some of you in Bhutan last month at
SANOG XXIII! I really enjoyed my time there, the beautiful country, and
meeting many great people.

To follow up, I wanted to be sure that all of you had links to the Internet
Society programmes and projects I spoke about:

# Deploy360 #
The Internet Society Deploy360 Programme provides real-world deployment
information for key Internet technologies. We aim to bridge the gap between
the IETF standards process and final adoption of those standards by the
global operations community.
The website and all of our resources are here:
http://www.internetsociety.org/deploy360/
You can contact us with ideas, questions, or anything else:
http://www.internetsociety.org/deploy360/about/contact/

# Operators and the IETF #
We need feedback from ALL network operators! Please take some time to
complete our survey about your level of awareness and participation with
the IETF. In this survey, the less you think you know, the better! =)
More information is here:
http://www.internetsociety.org/deploy360/blog/2014/01/new-project-operators-and-the-ietf/
And you can take the survey here:
https://internetsociety2.wufoo.com/forms/operators-and-the-ietf/

# Best Current Operational Practices #
We are helping facilitate regional NOGs all over the world to document how
they run their networks and deploy new technologies.
More information: http://www.internetsociety.org/deploy360/about/bcop/

# Routing Resiliency Survey #
The Internet Society is inviting network operators to participate in an
effort to improve the collection of incident data related to routing
resiliency. Learn about your own network while also helping us learn about
the Internet!
More information: https://www.internetsociety.org/rrs/about
If you decide to participate, please send a request for the creation of
your account to rrs-admin at isoc.org. In the request please indicate the your
AS number. You may also include AS numbers of your customers for which you
would like to monitor and classify related security incidents.

All of these programmes and projects are built around serving the operator
community. I truly hope you will find at least some of these resources
helpful!

Happy New Year!

Cheers,
~Chris

PS - I'd like to personally invite all of you to participate in any or all
of these projects, please feel free to contact me directly, or my team at
deploy360 at isoc.org.
